I saw that you can use it as a currency but I have no clue what it is or how to obtain either.
scroll with a check mark is the number of daily quests done. a diamond is the badge for donors... login and click on account details to set your badge. or on the support link to see all available badges.
or better .. get on the Discord channel and read the FAQ
where is the discord linked? i can't seem to find it :/
