The color model for each creature part is, from left to right: color hue, saturation and value (brightness). That might help get things exactly right.
Let me know if the tool works on your device and browser. Consider the source code is proprietary and copyrighted, but you can submit patches to me if you feel like it.

Wow, wasn't expecting such a huge response. If you can, do like Angelio (and me) and bundle up a few designs per post.
I'm working on making codes clickable so you don't have to copy-paste anymore. This is coming soon, I added a proof of concept to my starting post.

I've updated the Colorizer so it now produces URLs that you can copy and click directly. This makes it way more user-friendly. I've updated all posts with codes to the URL format and will merge them now.
(EDIT: done. Please don't spam URLs in single posts, but collect a few per post. Thanks!)
