Just a quick heads-up: I'm having a good time with the people visiting me this week for their vacation and they will be staying at least until somewhere on Sunday. Having fun is taking up most of my day each day so I probably won't stream on Friday or Saturday this week. If I can make it on Sunday, you'll read it here first!

Sorry; I won't be streaming this Sunday. We had a boatload of rain completely flooding the street, leading to water seeping into everyone's houses. I'll have to do damage control tomorrow and I'm not yet sure about all electrical wiring. Other than that I'm doing fine and there seems to be no immediate threat of more rain or heavier floods.

There's been a few more intense periods of rain, but so far the sewage and drainage has been able to keep up. The entire upcoming week is looking like a danger zone, so fingers crossed there's no more water flooding in. In all, it isn't as bad here as what you've seen on television, but not being able to stop the rising water feels pretty lousy.
