Somewhat relevant to the art event I received a bug report from @Loki The Witful: Angeldust has a—usually invisible—limit on the number of text signs and tailored panels you can place within a single vertical layer of a land claim. Only when you hit this limit will you ever know about this, as the server will send you a message. There's also a limit on the total amount of text sign data per vertical layer that you can place. Loki reported that the server didn't send out messages for this. Text signs would just silently not appear for other players. This is especially noticeable with emoji pixel-art. I've rolled out a server update to now send out messages in both cases, so you know when you've placed either too many things or have too much data in a specific layer of a claim.

Just a note that the art completion will end on 30 April (Today). I will remove perms on the 1 May. If you need extension please shout. I am very happy to see the building fill up with super awesome creative designs over the last few weeks, you are all winners if you ask me. Thanks so much to everyone who has participated, I really hope you found it fun and found new ways of using blocks. I'll do my very best to be a fair judge on my next livestream! The livestream is "early" on Sunday (it'll be up on YouTube soon), and we'll go to the art gallery after hunting. You don't have to be there to win, but I appreciate it if you show up to support the event and the community! :D

By popular demand, I will allow players to have perms until the 2 May, up till the live stream start. There seems to be a last minute rush to polish and edit the art. The competition seems fierce and everyone is right now trying to outdo each other. On another note, there are a few abstract work that has no name of the artist, please make sure you tag the art to your name, otherwise if you get first prize it will go to me!!! :D heheh. @BlizzySmall- It could be an accident by another player, or the original player came back to trash it, I really don't know....but I think I know who created the t-rex thing, but not the R.I.P sign. Check your art, make sure its still there for the live stream! CCTV everywhere, but I have only so many pair of eyes. The Chaos is so much fun - enjoy! LOL. ~Meow.

We did a long and fun tour of the new art gallery on the livestream yesterday (at 2h05m): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qnPYGmunD4&t=7500 Major thanks to everyone involved in the planning, organization and artwork creation of this event, with a special shoutout to @SodaMeow and @Loki The Witful! :D I'll reward all you artists with dungeon points, quest points and coins. The amount is yet to be determined, and it might take me some time to set it all up, but it's coming. The gallery hosts some truly exceptional Angeldust artwork, including previously impossible art forms like pixel-art paintings and detailed sculpts. I found it impossible to rank or rate every piece, because there's so much variety and flavors. But you can probably tell from the livestream that many works impressed me—a lot! A longer-term idea is to make this gallery into a wonder, so that all players—both old and new—can easily find and admire the art. I really think this gallery shows Angeldust in a new light, with so much love and attention going into it from the entire community.
