Yes, a world map has come up a few times :) I'll announce the next big feature for v2.19 later today, right before the stream. It's a cool one, but mostly useful for newer players. Luckily, there's cool stuff for hardcore players and builders coming too in Angeldust v2.19.

Oooh, when is this stream? and how do I join? Also, it's just a wish, but... I'm walking around the village, and kinda wish that I could know who build what, or who owns a lot/place and wish we can send friend request or comment... (lonely kid here X'D)
