Tomorrow, Saturday September 3rd, 2022 around 07.00h UTC, I will perform maintenance on the Angeldust website and the Angeldust game server. Expect two hours of downtime while I shuffle data around—plan your questing appropriately :D

It's probably no surprise that Angeldust v3.21 is now released! I've just updated the server and new client versions are rolling out on all app stores. This update brings super cool stuff, like: – undo and redo actions during building (bound to Z and X by default) – a dynamic, shape-shifting 'photon mimic' block – wireless, persistent and in-game-time-based photon system activation – lots of bug fixes and performance improvements Please wait a bit for all app stores to catch up, it may take a few hours before the update is available on your device(s). Major props to @yayna for helping me debug some graphical issues on Linux that subsequently lead to a performance boost and increase in visual quality on all platforms. Thanks to @obi- and @Hummm for testing and exploring prototypes of several new features. A gentle nod to @Kamikaze Justice for indirectly leading me to create the wireless photon system. And a shoutout to @SodaMeow for testing new (GM) features that will soon be battle-tested and ready for use by (GM)s :-) Additional note: the Mac App Store version is now even more compatible with older systems, supporting Mac OS X Lion (10.7) and up. It will also be more performant on older and underpowered Macs.

While using the Photon Mimic and Photon Conduit blocks, I noticed a large space on the left and right side of the double doors (created with Photon Mimic), and the Photon Conduit blocks on the left and right side. https://i.postimg.cc/Lst0RDyG/00000002.png While I was working with Photon Mimic, I was thinking about doing a large project with it, but I can see that that will be impossible because of how many blocks that would be needed. The Photon Conduits aren't exactly the best looking building materials, and they would just take up too much room. Changing a wall into double doors works great, though, except for the space. Wouldn't it be cool to create an invisible city that can become visible?

I've just updated the server to fix an undo/redo issue spotted by @obi-, thanks for reporting this! @Kamikaze Justice: an entire invisible city might be pushing it, but a single or double door can definitely be done using a hidden wireless photon circuit like I showed on dev-stream 9.
