The level is the average creature level. The creature level system was implemented late in development. I discovered a lot of level 1 creatures before it was implemented. Hope it makes sense now :)

Yes. If you do a lot of hunting by yourself you'll get a lower level. If you hunt in big groups of players your level will increase.

yeah and i think u just play when party with firefly that why high.. my opinion.. u nvr/ rare hunt solo (low lvl creature)
