Lumi, that’s cool name. It makes me think of the environment rendering capabilities. Also it could be describing the heros planning a hunt while away from creatures sight, in the shade.

Have you ever imagined how challenging it would be if every time your character died you respawned in the village? I think it would be harder but more fun at the same time, It would also be nice if your friend could help you get up when you fainted. I think it would be more epic

@All: Names are welcome, keep in mind that they can be very subjective and that we currently don't know what the game will be like at all. I might introduce robot pirate zombies next week, and then maybe 'ROBOT PIRATE ZOMBIES' is a better name! With regard to the current suggestion: "Moonshades" is an existing RPG game which makes "Moonshade" likely conflict with third-party copyrights and trademarks. @xagas: Yes I have imagined returning to the village when dying :-), even before Angeldust v1.0 got released. I worked out that removing players from a battle isn't fun, because the entire point of Angeldust is that you play together. So I decided that players can't "die" and just become exhausted so they can at least cheer on their buddies. Exhaustion should still be somewhat risky, and I settled on having to pay up to 100 coins. If you are already indebted you don't have to pay more, to prevent players racking up huge debts during a larger battle. I also decided that exhaustion is "permanent" in the sense that you need to wait until you get back up, to serve as an additional penalty. You also can't discover creatures while exhausted. So in a way exhaustion is less punishing than you want (you remain in the battle), but also more punishing than you want (you can't help buddies up). Does that even out the score? :-)

This is a general question but also maybe a future development question: Does claiming lands and building on land reduce the creature amount on that land? Idea: Can some claimed lands be specified as Build only and Battle only lands? Specified by the claimer.

Maybe put that in the suggestion hat for the name: “Battle Builders” , “Battling Builders” .

I think it would be cool if night monsters were added, which appear at dusk and disappear at sunset, where there could be daily night monster missions where the reward would be bigger.

@xagas: that's a cool idea, and the game would support something like that. I just have no way of adding more creatures currently, so we'd have to settle for: A.) Spawning more creatures at night compared to day time B.) Spawning a different set of creatures during night than day C.) Spawning higher level creatures at night It will be weird given that everyone already has discovered all creature types, but it might be more fun for new players to have to look around a bit more to progress. Feedback from others welcome.

And pink and gold creatures spawn only during sunset.....how will that work in the game if we can set our own times? Mine be sunset all day heh. High level creatures (a huge mob) coming out at night from their hiding place sounds cool though....it makes sense, I like that idea. :D Can they also attack / damage your builds, so you have to become a builder to fix your buildings before night comes , cos second round of attacks they will loot all your furniture...heh. ~Meow
