This is a sad one, but on Monday around 2:00pm I noticed my last ferret Bryer was not himself so I spent the rest of the day with him and stayed awake most of the night with him and around 6:11am he passed quietly in his sleep. I spent the rest of that day doing nothing. Bryer lived 6 months longer than his brother Hunter, some of you where their when I mention about Hunters passing on a live stream. It is really sad for me now that they are both gone, I miss Hunter’s endless energy to wrestle and play, I am now missing Bryer’s need to organize tennis balls by color and size. But I am still happy to have them this long they where lab ferrets and lab ferrets usually live 2 to 3 years, Hunter lived for 7 years and 6 months and Bryer lived for 8 years. I know this is a sad topic but I wanted to thank everyone in the Angeldust community for being their for me, giving me lots of laughs and making me smile till me face hurts. Thanks to all of you for making my weekend better! My ferrets https://imgur.com/a/BAB7HF0

Awww, I'm sorry to hear that! I think we all remember the livestream where you shared that Hunter wasn't feeling well and that you were holding them. It's really sad that your other ferret had to go too. Hope you can look back fondly on all the memories you have, and who knows—maybe you'll find another great pet (or set of pets) in the future.

I know there's nothing I can say to take away the pain of losing some great pets. You took care of those ferrets very well because of how long they lived. It never gets easy when you've spent so much time with them, and they've given you such joy in your life. When one of my pets die, I don't ever want to get another pet because I don't want to feel that way again. But then I realize I'll see all my pets again on the flip side, and that helps me get over it faster. When I see another prospective pet I like, I figure, that animal will live somewhere, so it might as well be with me ;)

I feel for your loss Loki. Very sorry to hear about it. My Wife and I lost, a dog and a cat in the last 12 months. My wife lost her second brother and my brother in law this year too. Then a good friend of ours locally, just died of a heart attack. Although it is sad, hold on to all of your fond memories with your beloved pets. Regards, Rob.

I'm sorry for your loss, I also lost my ferrets, I know how painful it's when these babies go to the rainbow. It always seems unfair, и It's hard to get used to the fact that the house is empty and cold. Each of us continues to live as long as the memory of us lives. We will always keep the memories of them in our hearts.

Thank you guys for your kind words and I am sorry to hear about some of your losses. Bryer passing put me in a really dark spot because it was so sudden, while Hunter stayed with me for 3 days, thinking about how they are gone still make me sad but I can’t help but smile a little when thinking about all the good times we had. As well I was doing some reading and I did not really know how long they actually lived, one human month = one ferret year! That means Hunter lived to about 90 ferret years old and Bryer lived to be about 96 ferret years old! I don’t know why but knowing this makes me a little less sad.

Hey there Loki, sorry to hear the sad news, I do remember on the stream when you couldn't play because you had to take care of your ferret. And now this sad news. Treasure those memories forever and I bet they couldn't have asked for anyone better to take care of them in their lifetime, you made them happy. Take care of yourself too!
