Loki and I rebuilt what we believe is the fastest dungeon you can find in the game. It is identical to a real dungeon. The dungeon is located in Steaming City, to go there type /tw 42 in chat, then use the left most holo charger with a cyanergy marker at the Streaming City spawn. That holo charger will spawn you next to the dungeon, after that just follow the road north and you will be there. To complete a speedrun run: 1. Reset the dungeon by activating one of the injectors marked with cyanergy and holo scrolls saying 'reset' 2. Wait for the reset to finish, an NPC named 'done resetting' will say 'done resetting' in chat 3. Teleport to the top of the dungeon using the holo charger marked by a holo scroll saying 'teleport to the top of the dungeon' 4. Play the dungeon 5. When you finish the dungeon a door will open next to where you finish 6. Go take a look at your speedrun time (photon counters 1 claim north of the dungeon itself) - the time is counted in half seconds, so to get your time in seconds divide your time by half, to correct for delay subtract 0.7 seconds. Example a counter time of 224 would be 224/2 - 0.7 = 111.3±0.5 seconds - the time on the counter can be 0.5 seconds more or less than the real time 7. Show off your personal best time, post your best time in this forum post, or ask one of the GMs to place down a holo scroll near the dungeon. To play again start with step 1. How the dungeon was made: 1. Hummm stored chunks containing dungeons (2023?) 2. obi- reverse engineered chunk files (June 2024) 3. obi- analysed the dungeon files and inserted the best possible floors into one dungeon 4. WOW! The practice must have paid off for Loki's new record. How many hours of practice did it take Loki-the-witful? Everyone get practicing...heh! :D

A warm applause to @PB Shenaigans (who dis??!!) with a speedrun personal best of 0:08.5. That is very close to the theoretically fastest time possible if you could fall down the entire dungeon stairwell and hit one of the end triggers. So GG on finishing Angeldust forever! :D In totally unrelated news I'm rolling out a server update tomorrow morning (November 28th, around 08.00h UTC) to fix translation issues caused by text hints, see the WebGL topic. The Angeldust game server will be down for about two seconds. Plan your dungeoneering, questing and hunting accordingly!
