I did some quick stats testing and this is the results: Normal sword: 1.) Average damage per hit: 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2. 2.) highest number of damage seen holding attack: 6. not counting critical. 3.) Time for critical hit: 27, 21, 68, 48, 91, 30, 7, 120, 8, 2. seconds. Red sword: 1.) Average damage per hit: 6, 6, 3, 6, 6, 3, 3, 3, 6, 6. 2.) highest number of damage seen holding attack: 18. not counting critical. 3.) Time for critical hit: 7, 25, 65, 46, 17, 69, 47, 40, 51, 27. seconds. Golden sword: 1.) Average damage per hit: 4, 4, 4, 4, 2, 4, 4, 4, 2, 4. 2.) highest number of damage seen holding attack: 12. not counting critical. 3.) Time for critical: 1, 1, 15, 20, 11, 7, 5, 19, 13, 4. seconds. And I have to test the poison sword / purple sword later. Hopes this helps. 🤓

Dear Loki, since COVID we all know that statistical analysis might be needed to understand reality. Thank you very much for your analyses. But can you explain me please, what is a critical hit. I'll add a few simple observations that aren’t backed by mathematics :)))))) The damage dealt by the green sword falls between that of the normal and red swords. The purple sword deals slightly less damage than the red sword, but it protects against creatures that can cause damage from long range. At the moment I prefer to use a combination of the red and purple swords. And Blizzy , perhaps you will share your practical observations with the sanctifier here. Maybe this will help me get over my displeasure of dungeons.

@Adede I certainly can! Critical hit is the small chance of your weapon dealing double damage or activating a weapons special ability. Example of ability on critical hits is: The red sword on critical hits does area damage and pins creatures down for a short time. The purple sword on critical hits takes a small bit of the creature health and gives it to you. Green sword on critical hits deals poison damage which makes the creature slow. Each sword has its own perks, choosing the right one at the right time really can make or break a battle. Also you can force a critical hit by collecting a red first from a chest. Hey Adede. The sanctifier does do more damage, that is for sure! I just don't think it's an over powered "you must get it if you want grinding to be easier" sort of weapon. Although I used it only for yesterday I am not sure if I can say that it is 100% necessary to make life easier but I am happy I spent all the time and luck by getting it.(Remember that odds of unlocking it first time at 50 dungeons is a 1/4 chance)
