I finally tracked down a pretty obscure GPU (driver) issue on Android that has been bugging me for years now. On some devices (I experience this with a Mali-400 GPU) you will see blocky, white flashes/artifacts on the sign-in form background until the game world has loaded in. Over the years I've tried dozens of approaches of fixing this, but none worked, until today! By rotating the camera 1/200th of a degree along its X-axis the artifacts disappear. I think it's because somewhere in the GPU's driver math I now prevent a division by zero for camera-parallel surfaces. So if you play on Android and have a Mali-400, or a GPU with a similarly bugged driver, you will no longer see these artifacts in the upcoming Angeldust v3.7 update. Makes the game feel 100% more solid.
