Fastest way would be to discover land and digg new materials,then hunting rares and in third place Firefly stream 6pm CET where you get like 500gold for each 31 lvl monster that you did not kill at lvl 31 yet
find all the areas, finding new creatures ( they have a gold square around the hp bar), for every level a creature is you get 20g so higher level creatures grant more gold so play with friends or as suggest play on stream.
