firefly animals keep entering my plot via the doors can you plz find a way so that non mounts cant go threw doors cause i was working on one of my plots when a snake came threw the door and started to attack me

Most creatures will try to path straight towards you. if you make your doorway with some S curves, or even completely block it off (temporarily while you're building) that will solve your issue.

A snake takes almost no time to kill :) A mammoth would be better to guide it out far away before go back to build. Like Hummm said, a temporal blocking is another good option too.

I have the same situation, I have a castle in Arcitc Wastes Lv278, most of the monsters can just climb the wall and get into my yard... It turns a little bit better after i make my wall higher, and set my doors at some 'unusual spit' like the corner

Hm, a moat with walls 5 or more blocks high on both sides (and 5 blocks wide) did help a lot to me at the very beginning of my castle :)
