Angeldust v2.9 has been officially released today! Big new features are player/hero leveling, a chat log, text input fixes and many other all-round improvements. I'm already hard at work at making v2.10 a reality – again with lots of improvements!

Although I am level 61 I feel no power difference at all and it feels like it's only a number and it doesn't help me in combat

I think the enemy creatures are way too easy to kill right now, because apparently nobody notices difference in combat with the new level system :) But higher levels (up to a certain point) greatly affect your hero's power in combat. It works similar to the creature levels.
