I was thinking you could do that when the player calls the mount and follows him. It could be done that the mount does not stand still and chase the owner and to make it not chase him everywhere the mount was called again and thus the persecution that this idea seems to you is deactivated so you do not have to abandon the mount in middle of the road. :)
