You have a beautiful dog, Loki! Just a few tips... don't give her human food because you don't want her to get fat, and die early. Find a good dog food that she likes. The grocery stores sell garbage, but it is cheaper. An occasional sliced apple without the rind is a nice treat. Treat her like family, and not a piece of furniture. Get a durable rubber ball that she can hold in her mouth, and teach her to play fetch. Tennis balls will eventually shred. Playing in the grass is much easier on a dog's joints than walking her on the cement. Keep her until the very end. My German Shepherd (Cheyenne) died on April 2nd, just short of her 14th birthday (April 11th). I thought of her as a furry human, and she had a large vocabulary. She actually listened to me and my wife talk, as if she understood what we were talking about. I always gave Cheyenne full body hugs, and told her that I loved her. She would give me hugs, too, in her own way. I still imagine her around the house. I miss her a lot, but I know I'll see her someday.

Thanks for the tips Kamikaze Justice. She is not our first Shiba Inu, so we already know all the ins and outs for her dog breed, and already got a large supply of her favorite treats with all natural ingredients, and picked out a few good toys for her. it is nice to have her apart of the family. 🥰 I am very sorry to hear about the lost of your German Shepherd, Cheyenne. I know how hard to loose such loved pet. I make sure to give yukimi a extra large hug for you ❤️🩹.
