Would it be nice if Angeldust kept existing text input and placed the cursor at the end of it when you click/tap on a text field? In contrast to clearing input every time like it does currently. For the new "text sign" feature this behavior makes sense and lets players tweak text in multiple passes. I'm wondering if this would also improve the entry of things like player names and holo scroll texts. Your feedback is much appreciated!

sometimes i dont want to send something and i just press escape to clear the input field sounds like a really really easy way for someone to say or leak something they didnt want to i also would hate to paste a big thing from my clipboard and then have the only way to get rid of it be to hold down return therefore i think this behavior should be exclusive to the holo scroll and other similar placeable things

@obi-: This change wouldn't affect chat input because the box disappears completely once you cancel it. It's about text fields that remain on-screen and that you can click/tap multiple times. Password fields would also not remember contents, because they are scrambled after entry.

I been requesting movable cursor for years now, I make so many typos and I only notice after typing almost the whole sentence so I have to delete it all and start over to try to hide it. Please Add this I love to have the ability to move the cursor and fix hole scrolls my chat message please oh please add this. I also imagine it will definitely be needed for the signs if they get added and making coloring your chat messages easier for you can play with the coloring better.

Oh just realized I missed interpreted what Firefly said, my answer is still yes, I like it not to auto clear the stuff if I click the text box. But I would still like a moving cursor very much needed if signs are coming to game.
