Okay I did not see you said you tested on (chrome, brave, and edge) sorry lamo 😅 So this gave me a thought, I pulled out my raspberry pi and tested the WebGL in the (Chrome) browser and it works minus the controller, the buttons where all messed up and paired wrong, so I think this might be the browser fault they might have did a quiet update and changed something, and for (brave, and edge) it might have not worked in the first place for them, I do not really know I am a Firefox and sometimes Safari guy. Or something else to consider is some controllers need software updates, I know mine needs one now and then, but considering my controller does not work either I say this is very unlikely. Note my controller is a 8BitDo

@WendySimple: Thanks for the details! My WebGL code is unchanged from Sunday, so something on your computer (or controller) must have changed since Sunday; we'll have to figure out what. One question specific to the controller in your video: does the 'Analog' button change its mapping to something that works better? I also did some local testing on macOS Firefox and my controller doesn't work correctly at all, similar issues to what you see. The best bet I have is to update some of the underlying frameworks for the WebGL version and hope the controller mapping improves in general. I'll let you know when I have done this so we can test again. It remains weird that it used to work perfectly before.

I've updated the new WebGL version: https://angeldu.st/static/webgl-new/ This features the dynamic shadows I showed off on the livestream yesterday, the new cinematic mode options and it even fixes the sticker rotation bug we saw yesterday. Go test it NOW! :D

OMG!!! Good thing to note: if you do not see the updated shadows you may need to clear your cookies for it to take effect. I love the shadows!!! And the glow is no longer as potent on some of the glowing blocks, making them way better and no longer to hard to see their texture!

Hey @Loki The Witful, I think you found a bug! :D Can you send me a screenshot of the glowing blocks? Because technically they should not be darker than before :-) I'd be interested to see what you mean. I know you can't make a comparison to before, but just seeing the new version would let me check if there is a bug there. Also to @all: I'm very interested to hear about the performance of this new version with dynamic shadows. How does it compare to the original WebGL?

What I meant by less potent glow was some of the blocks did not seem to have the same harsh glow, I can’t seem to find or replicate it now though so it might have been a trick of the light. And here are some quick comparisons shots and one bug maybe? https://imgur.com/a/YxVUKqD
