Same here! Found it at level 512. Wound up making a pseudo-gold bridge and trying to strafe the darn thing. Killed it and got the purple flag and killed the two new bunnies that spawned from it 'dying'.

The easiest way is trapping the bunny since he doesn't throw projectiles and can't break blocks.
