First make sure nobody is overloading your network, maybe ask family members/school buddies to temporarily stop downloading or uploading data to check if that helps. Sometimes devices have better reception if you turn them 180º or even 90º—see what orientation leads to the best signal reception. You can also try a different way of connecting maybe, like cellular data or Ethernet if you have a device that supports it. In all you will always be dependent on your ISPs routing to the game server—I can't really change that. If the website is responsive for you, the game should be too.

Whenever I got the bars, I'd reboot/restart the modem, and reboot my computer. Sometimes, that would fix it. Also, I made sure only the Angeldust game was open, and no other app. Inside the game, I'd lower the "Detail level", lessened the "View distance". I turned off anything I didn't need, like the "Music volume", "Hero voice", and "Automatic translation". If none of that fixes the problem, then maybe your internet cable is old, and your internet provider should replace some, or all of the cable. If you got your modem from your internet provider, exchanging your modem for a new one might fix the problem. If you bought your modem, and it's old, you might need another one. I've done some, or all these things to improve my internet reception.

I have a desktop and laptop, often my desktop gets bars or gets kicked off, but my laptop is reliable. I've noticed my desktop runs fine without using a VPN. That could be one solution, if there are other applications on your device that are consuming wifi signal, maybe temporarily block certain applications from running in the background while playing. That could also help with the battery if on a mobile device.
