This is just a quick Topic I wanted to discuss about: Topics! Topics are how we discuss things on the Forum, may it be about an recent Event, about the Game, about an important Announcement and much more. But one feature is missing from the Topics: an "Delete" option. I think anyone should be able to delete an Topic that they look back at and say: "why did I even post this!". I got an Topic from myself that I want to delete, but sadly that isn´t a thing on here. People should be able to remove stuff, like on almost every Platform like YouTube, Twitter (or X if you´re an Nerd), Discord, Twitch etc. Have a Donut. beamy_donut (aka the Conqueror of the Wheel of Doom, Lord of the Donuts, Mayor of Newbie City, and whatever Title you can come up with)

I would delete the delete button 🤣 In all honesty I do not think a delete button to the forums would come and if it did it would have a time frame on it like one hour til you can no longer delete it

You can edit ("delete") your own posts up to one hour after posting these days; I think that's a good balance. The idea of deleting forum topics seems very rude and selfish—you'd effectively be able to remove anyone else's hard work and time with the press of a button. I don't want players to feel like they're being held hostage.

I meant to delete your OWN Topic, not someone elses. Also editing one doesn't "remove" it. It would look ugly to have an blank Post rather it not even existing. And if someone accidentally presses the delete button on their Topic, it could have an message saying "You really want to delete this Topic?" or something in those Lines.

hes talking about how deleting your own topic would delete the work other players put in by replying, we could potentially end up losing amazing history and lore brought by classics such as 'I still can't get over this...' or even 'Goodbye ♥' best bet right now is to edit your regrettable posts within an hour

Editing the Post, like I said, will leave it blank and it will change nothing. I want "I still can´t get over this..." gone because I was totally wrong in that Post and sounded mad for just losing on some wheel. And honestly I couldn´t care less about the replies, only the good ones. People should be able to delete their Topic, regardless of the replies that "have so much hard work in them". So many workarounds for one simple thing 💀
