Due to another batch of major Intel®-specific processor defects I'm awaiting a forced upgrade and restart of the Angeldust game server. I'll try my best to keep the service running with the least downtime possible. The Angeldust website should be mostly unaffected so I will post updates here as we go. Right now, it's mostly waiting. (Also: friendly reminder that AMD produces processors that do not have major defects in them.)

Will the shutdown be clean? eg if you're in-game, will you get notices to logoff?

I hope so, but it largely depends on the amount of lead time I get from the data center. I haven't received any schedule just yet.
