Angeldust v2.23 brings a second hotbar row for those playing using a keyboard or game controller. You can use the 'Alt / Option' and '~' (tilde, left of '1') keys or D-pad up/down to switch between two rows of items. All contents will persist between gaming sessions. I'll keep thinking on a good solution for touchscreens, but expect to only have one row of items on iPad, iPhone and Android for the time being.

yes, very welcome new feature. Just a curiosity question (not sure I have an opinion either way): Will the second hotbar "auto fill" the same way the first one currently does? (on new item discovery)

@Hummm: yes, imagine the current hotbar having 20 slots and then seeing either the first or second half containing ten items. It still looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and is probably still a duck, just like the existing hotbar.

Found a way to implement hotbar switching on touchscreen: swipe from left-to-right over the menu icon in the hotbar to switch rows. You can also do a continuous right-to-left motion from the rightmost item in the hotbar and start selecting immediately.
