On yesterday's livestream I casually went through the privacy policy and some of the conditions present in the terms of use for the Angeldust website and game server. While doing so I realized that I stored IP address information longer than I think is necessary for security and moderation. So I just implemented a system that checks all IP address information weekly and blanks out expired data. The time limit for expiration is short, but long enough to catch abusers. I will not explicitly state the details here to prevent people trying to game the system. You can always e-mail me for privacy-related questions. I just ran the system for the first time, scrubbing roughly 99% of legacy data. Thanks for your continued trust in my (company's) services.
