I think it would be pretty cool if Firefly added a developer console with certain customization options like HUD size, HUD placement, left hand visuals, character cosmetics (eye_color 7, or something along those lines), and other various things that would be added gradually as people request new commands. Does anyone second this?

You can already customize your character but yeah, I agree to your idea.
