I never was a fan of first-person riding, because we have a 2D graphics style and sitting on a paper-thin horse in first-person view doesn't really make sense. Showing the creature you're riding on seems essential, because otherwise you lose all contextual cues that you can't use weapons and other items. In the 3D graphics style I can somewhat see the appeal, so I just now hacked together a quick proof of concept. It… doesn't really work. Because you're pretty close to the creature you ride, sometimes parts of it clip through the camera and you look through a semi-hollow horse. Having a moa neck in front of you all the time is also not as much fun as you think :D The only scenario that works somewhat for me is flying a drakeling. I'll readily admit that being in first-person on the drakeling and flying into the air gives a better sensation of flight than we currently have. Even with the drakeling clipping into the camera. Your request is now on my list and I'll see if I can make it work somehow in the future. Don't expect the world just yet.

"I've finally found a genius way to make drakeling flying in first-person enjoyable and visually apparent." ... I just make your mount completely disappear. How is that apparent? ... it just looks like your 32* meters tall! (this is supposed to be taken in jest, I'm sure the FP players will love it) * 32 being the average height
