Angeldust v3.19 is officially coming, with cool new features like: – first-person creature riding (and flying!) – player chat/menu/lag status bubbles – sprinting movement trail particles – instant sign-in and telecharging – better game world lighting – Raspberry Pi support Today (Friday 11th) around 19.00h UTC I will release the updated clients on all app stores. Tomorrow morning (Saturday 12th) around 08.00h UTC I will update the Angeldust game server to require the new version. Expect ten seconds of downtime for this. Everyone playing Angeldust v3.19 Beta 1 ('one') is advised to upgrade to the official release to prevent minor visual and gameplay issues. Beta 2 is compatible as-is.

The update is now rolling out on all app stores, enjoy! One note: if you're using the Mac App Store version of Angeldust on OS X 10.9 (or lower), you'll have to either upgrade to at least OS X 10.10 or switch over to the Angeldust for macOS version on Itch.io: https://metagaming.itch.io/angeldust

@mrvins: I'm not sure if I understand your question. Every update improves the game in a way that is independent of visual style. Sure, I tweak specific rendering code sometimes, but progress on the game hasn't been tied to a single visual style exclusively as far as I know. Maybe I'm misinterpreting your question, let me know!

can the game add a survival theme? I'm just asking and if you don't agree that's okay, in the game when we kill monsters only exp comes out, while to get gold we have to sell our prey, for example we kill a mammoth and then we sell the meat or skin to merchants, and yep you have to add a store feature hehe :D, this seems more complicated But this is survival :D

I'm not a big fan of changing the core theme of the game at this moment. Making players feel unsafe and pressuring them to find food and shelter is just not my thing. I want players to feel safe and comfortable that they can progress in the game at their own pace and leisure. It's a more casual and welcoming experience. But hey, I also have good news for you—there are tons of games (with way bigger budgets) that do exactly what you want! Just look for 'survival game' online or in any app store. You're bound to find something that fits your tastes perfectly.
