Updated WebGL 'new' version: https://angeldu.st/static/webgl-new 1.) Water is moving different. 2.) In fact, in a world first the water is now entirely shaded on your GPU instead of your CPU, giving a major performance boost. I expect a ton of bugs, but we'll work them out eventually. And a heads-up: tomorrow around like 09.00 UTC or 10.00 UTC I'll try to update and restart the game server to enable hide-and-seek everywhere on WebGL. The game server will be down for about two seconds, so plan your questing and dungeoneering around it.

Loving the water! 🤓 I did notice a random stutter that happened 3 times, but not sure what is causing it, I try to see if I can find a way to replicate it. Some images: https://imgur.com/a/iPzjUzv Also I keep my eye out for the server update.

Server updated, changes to WebGL: A.) In WebGL and WebGL 'New' you can now hide everywhere using the new 'Hide' button in the Quick messages menu. B.) 'F + Space bar' on keyboard and '(B) + D-pad right' on controller are shortcuts to hide. C.) Sitting in the Anarchy Zone no longer hides you when using WebGL. Changes to all versions of Angeldust: D.) While hiding your ridden and tamed creatures now hide too. E.) Superfluous, manually spawned creatures on top of dungeons will now despawn as they do in regular areas. Testing and feedback are appreciated!

I really like the water update, is it a good moment to suggest the idea od increasing wave height and speed based on cloud factor? I made a quick test (since its on gpu i am able to modify it) and it looks really cool in my opinion. https://imgur.com/a/water-V1FfjkV

I am loving the water effects and waves. Water at the beach https://imgur.com/a/water-beach-UR8XRbm Lost at sea https://imgur.com/a/lost-sea-faiMLuL I also think ritpop is on to something, increasing water wave and height would be fun.

@ritpop: I had played around with that idea before releasing the update. It seems viable, but it's easy to overdo it. I'll investigate it once more pieces of the new engine are in place. @Loki The Witful: Good stuff! I love 'Lost at sea'. It's super fun how the waves catch the raft!
