Tu-turo! Currently, Valessi is not at the state that I wanted, I really wish I could build much more and make much more, Valessi should be much bigger, but due to irl stuff I have to manage, I'm having less and less time to building. Also there's some other things that block my advance. This is a list of Neo Valessi and Old Valessi informations, secrets and less knows or unknown facts. I'm releasing all of this for comparison and to few things don't become lost media. Valessi, mid May 2019 New Valessi, 28 March 2022 - Old Valessi facts: - •Old Valessi was iniciated around mid May 2019 as a side building, so I wouldn't be sick of building Aspatia, I was basically building both at the same time, before Aspatia became a wonder. It started with the fortress of course, and then some houses started being built slowly. •The design of the houses was stolen from obi's playground. :) •When I started building the houses, Id often get visited by obi and Lucy-, they had drakelings while I was struggling to climb the houses. •The museum design was inspired by London Parliament. •The airship Regalia Presto's name is a reference to the Kill La Kill Jazukuri Nono's flying uniform. The airship Lord of Bonfim is a reference to Salvador's Basilica Senhor do Bonfim. •There was actually a hidden witch tower not so far from the airships dock. •Instead of Zooyhs' house, it was supposed to be Alexi's house. The house without residents was supposed to be Tails' house. And the blue roof house was supposed to be Hummm's house, this explains the blue wooden roof and the photons on the outside (due to Hummm's lab). •There was a good amount of special holo npcs scrolls inside the houses, some with jokes and references to other players. •Valessi is very close to Neferspi, it takes between 15-20 minutes of walking to get there. The White Swan is also very close. •A good part of Valessi was already built before photons (and smokes) were added, so because of this some photon tests I made when released were buried under Valessi. •Dust Bunny's tavern music was actually an attempt to make Harry Potter's theme song. •There was a hidden cave close to the channel, it's entrance was camouflaged with trees and bushes. A holo scroll with a joke could be found inside. •A soldier had lost his toast for breakfast near some dinning tables, and the player could find another soldier eating it not very far. •The priest is sussy. •The first tour happened on October, 12, 2019 - stream #258. (Same day as the stream #1). - Neo Valessi facts - •Neo Valessi iniciated •Violet statue inside the church was fatih's idea, since Valessi is close to Neferspi, he said it would be very cool if Valessi had Violent and Neferspi Crimson. •Some of Old Valessi remainings can be found under the marketplace and heading north. •The new houses are actually much bigger than the old houses, and they vary in sizes, which makes Neo Valessi much bigger than before. •There should be a merchant airship that would appear only during stream, and It would disappear one day after. •Npcs should have schedules. •Theres 7 languanges being used by the npcs, the 1st most used language is Portuguese, followed by German in 2nd. •The Guild should have quests for players. •The Channel was supposed to reach Neferspi. •There should be a cheese press area and flowers farms. Old Valessi structure: 27 houses in total. All houses was 3 blocks wide of interior. Gray was the dominant colour. Professions and establishments: Tailor Soldier Doctor Tavern keeper Inn keeper Baker Priest Blacksmith Barber There was supposed to be an archer, but it was never really added. Neo Valessi structure: 136 houses in total. Houses vary in sizes, 5-7-9 wide of interior. There's a wide range of colours being used, roof, walls, paths, decorations. Professions and establishments: Cornish pasty bakery Fletcher Watchmaker Flower shop Forge Potions shop Witch house Granadier Composer Painter Gunsmith Brewer Pub Blacksmith Potter Fisher Tax collector Hospital Weaver Bookshop Inventor Wine shop Baker Butcher Trinkets shop General shop Church Graveyard Craftsman Workshop Guild Tavern Gem shop Bath house Jewelry Writer Engineer Herb shop Screenshots and videos: I lost a lot of screenshots from 2019, that's why there's little to zero old Valessi screenshots. https://imgur.com/a/gHInn4E Made by fatih: https://youtu.be/Gr-bhdZULVE?si=jRCKoUx7dcPHQwkg Made by Angelio: https://youtu.be/adRBCZUbBIA?si=t-a-kxM4-AcBlIxm It's been very fun to build until now, in 2019 and in this year, I'm very happy to have all of this recorded and to show what I'm actually capable of, it's been a very fulfilling personal project until now, I really enjoy spending some time ingame and interacting on stream. I wish I will have time to spend with Angeldust, but no promises :) Maybe I will build something else, but also I want to expand Valessi even more and complete it 100% one day. Bing chilling.

Major thanks to Ruan for giving us an extended tour through Valessi on the livestream. It's a phenomenal and absolutely stunning build. I mean, look at this and tell me it doesn't look great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eml2EgzrIjU&t=9611s The entire livestream is just a highlight reel of beautiful moments strung together. I know I'll be visiting a lot to find all the details and test new graphical features. Thank you so much Ruan. Regardless of what happens in the future, you went out with a bang!

New Valessi (Not so new now). Tu-turo! Hallo, now it's been like almost 3 years since I started to rebuild Valessi, my last tour was in November 2023. Took me some time to do something at Valessi again as expected, and I worked on it very sporadically. I'm not sure for how long I will be building it, but I do have some plans to finish. I will be using this opportunity to drop a few things before the next Angeldust update, and because I feel I have to space things out so that everything isn't dropped at once. This is like a checkpoint for me. Same as last time, I have screenshots saved to show the building progress, and also some trivia about Valessi in general that I wanted to share, even tho it's full of very specific references that could be hard to a non Brazilian to get. But again, it's fun to share. For now, here's what I did in the last months. Valessi update: •New District. Old Valessi woods (no more). •Valessi woods district has been remodeled. The terrain has been reworked for the good. This includes removing some old houses and the statue foundation. •+26 new houses. •Zooyhs' house has been deleted. •Tails' house has been deleted. •Hummm's house has been deleted. •Old statue foundation has been deleted. •Valessi farm has been partially deleted. It will be added new house rows, and the farms will be pushed further back. •Lilith Square (old fortress ruins) has been remodeled and finished. •New main building, Suassuna Theatre. Located at Lilith Square. •Fixed some paths missing details. •Missing dialogues for Npcs. •New Npcs. Screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/S5wQi8G Trivia: •Both "Aurélio Hollanda" and "Chico Hollanda" names are reference to Aurélio Buarque de Holanda (Brazilian lexicologist and translator, author of the Portuguese language dictionary.) and Chico Buarque de Hollanda (Famous Brazilian singer and songwriter). •"Iwasaki Akiyama's" name is a reference to Akiyama Mio (One of the main characters of the manga and anime series K-on!. Tho, Akiyama is a somewhat common surname in Japan). •In Valessi the flower shop owner "Popuri" is a character from the game series Harvest Moon, She first appeared in Nintendo64's Harvest Moon as the daughter of the flower shop owner. Her main appearance trait is her pink hair. •"Fernando Cardoso's" name is a reference to a former Brazilian president Fernando Henrique Cardoso. In Valessi, his line of dialogue is a reference to the character Don Rámon (pt- Seu Madruga) in the Mexican comedy series El Chavo del Ocho (pt- Chaves). •The song that "Ludmilla" whistles (João e Maria) is one of the well known songs by Brazilian singer Chico Buarque. •"Lobato Monteiro's" name is a reference to Monteiro Lobato (One of the most influential and important writers in Brazilian literature and popular culture). •"Carlos Andrade's" name is a reference to Carlos Drummond de Andrade (One of the well known Brazilian poets). His line of dialogue is actually one of the Carlos Drummond's poems. •Suassuna Theatre is basically a homage to Ariano Suassuna (One of the most important writers of Brazilian literature and popular culture, one of the most important in the northeast of Brazil). Better known for his work: (O) Auto da Compadecida. (Classic of the brazilian popular culture) The general design of the theatre is all based on the Santa Isabel Theatre, located in Recife - Brazil. The city where Ariano Suassuna passed away. A statue in his honor is located near the real life Santa Isabel. •The House of The Rising Sun Pub is a reference to the song of the same name by The Animals. •"Lucas Boswel's" conversation with "Erika Schwarts" is a reference to the song Mina do Condomínio by Seu Jorge (Brazilian actor and singer-composer) •"Erika Schwartz'" reply to "Lucas Boswel" is an aria from the 1885 opera comique Carmen Habanera by Georges Bizet. •One of "Mia Beaumont's" dialogues is a reference to a short story called Amor by Clarice Lispector. •The red rabbit that "Henry Wellinton" refers to is Juan Carlos Bodoque (One of the main characters of the Chilean educational children's program 31 Minutos). •The magic harmonica mentioned by "Nora Boswel" is a reference to (O) Auto da Compadecida, a play by Ariano Suassuna, later turned into a film. •The song sung by "Iwasaki Haru" is called Yuya by Tsunehiko Kamijo with Joe Hisaishi. This song is also known by the name Shigoto wa Tsurai Ze (It's Hard Work), present in the Japanese movie Spirited Away. •"Gatto's Tavern's" name is reference to a character from the SNES game Chrono Trigger. A giant cat looking robot named Gatto (Original Japanese name: Gonzales-Gato), built by one of the game's main character Lucca. •The song sung by "Noah Wellinton" is called Sleigh a la Russe (by Richard Kountz and Ivor Tchervanow). The reference in question is to the Woody Woodpecker's cartoon film called Ski for Two (by Walter Lantz). As I mentioned before, I enjoy spending my time in Angeldust (mainly building), and Valessi is one of my most fulfilling personal projects for real. All of the references and small details and how I mix all of this to make it work is a good proof of the amount of care and attention I put into this, I'm very proud and there's still room for more. To put the passage of time into perspective, I started rebuilding everything in Valessi before I entered university, and now I will probably graduate next year, and of course a lot of things happened in this meantime. Spending my time in Angeldust is a hobby of sorts, not so passive as listening to music, but more creative like drawing, and I feel I don't thank Firefly enough for making this game, and because of Angeldust this community exists and we happened to get here together, it's very fun in general. Thank you Firefly for making this possible. Boat goes binted.
