@Rob12 graces us with their seventh wonder: City of Angels! Congratulations to them for this unique achievement! Visit the city by typing '/tw 46' in the in-game chat. City of Angels is a giant city with everything you could wish for: an overarching city plan, structured roadwork, named streets, tons of unique buildings, some great architecture and play spaces, NPCs, text signs and creative uses of emoji. There is so much to explore that you won't be able to visit everything in one sitting. The helpful Information Center provides a downloadable city map with all kinds of highlights and attractions to visit. And there are many: a giant sports stadium, a beautiful university campus, parks and playgrounds, factories, supermarkets, train stations and even an Angeldust livestreaming center! Using the latest and greatest building tools @Rob12 has made some completely new and innovative constructions. Be on the lookout for creative uses of emoji like beer glasses and even taps, microphones, cogwheels and much more. Tailored panels are used in all shapes and sizes to create couches, gurneys, corrugated steel textures and so much more. This is the first wonder to really dive into these techniques and it shows! So major thanks to @Rob12 for building and submitting this build. They are now the undisputed wonder builder king of Angeldust with seven wonders! I hope you will all enjoy your visit to the city. I'll do an ad-hoc tour of City of Angels on my upcoming livestream, it's going to be great! (UPDATE: City of Angels is now included in the Wonder chunks archive on the About page.)

Thank you very Much Firefly for adding the "City of Angels" to the wonders list. This was not my usual kind of wonder build. Here are some facts and figures. From the first concept of the city to it's completion, it has been almost 20 months. If I averaged 3 hrs of building per day, that equates to roughly 1,800 hours of work. Some days I worked morning, afternoon and all night on it, building one city block at a time. Shortly after starting construction, I made a plan for the layout and naming of all the roads. There were originally only 29 roads. Then as the border of the city was expanded to break up the symmetry, I added 6 extra streets. Once all of the streets were laid out as plain black tops, no lines, lights, or median strips, then I produced a plan for every single building that I was going to build. I also used Sim City colour coding to make areas of (green/residential), (blue/commercial), (yellow/industrial). Some buildings I wrote on plan, what they actually were, such as doctors, dentist, old peoples home etc. Other buildings I had made up what they were going to be on the fly, as I was building them. They may have just been a blue square on my plan, and then they were made into something like a flower shop, or a bike shop. Almost every building in the actual city turned out to be exactly as they were planned and even some of the names for the shops were already planned in advance. Other things that were in my plan, include the rail network. Originally there was going to be one central station and four satellite stations, but when I started building the University, I decided that the uni needed it's own station, and so now there are five. Also on the plan were considerations for the cities water supplies, wastewater treatment and power supply. Then there are municipal buildings, schools, banks, and everything else a city should have. There are two huge shopping malls with all sorts of specialty stores in them. Some shops even have trolley bays. There are 24 intersections with working traffic lights. The Grand Boulevard is 15 blocks wide including the curb. There are multiple machines and vehicles throughout the city, of all kinds, including two trains that you can board. I changed the name of Weedler Street, that runs beside the water treatment plant, it used to be swamp street, which itself was a joke on the kind of smell you would get from there. In the end I thought Weedler street was classier lol. My special pick on things to see: Go find the "Snowball" observation tower on the corner of Violet Avenue and Grand Boulevard. There's an elevator to the top. Also pay a visit to the "Angeldust Developers Office" corner of, Crimson Avenue and Firefly Street and of course the streaming centre as well. Be sure to go to the top floor, as that's where the recording takes place. Then make sure you visit the museum as well. There are several NPC's of real players in the city, they all do what they would do, for a trade there. So look for those too. The rest I'll leave up to you to discover. Rob12

Thank you Loki, Remember when I was telling you about my traffic light issue, and I said there would be something in the city in your honor? Maybe a street or something. I'm sure you will find it :D Have fun
