@Some horse: first things first—you can't zoom on Android? There is no code path to hide the zoom in and zoom out buttons that are on the left. Can you make a screenshot of your map so I can diagnose?
The map could use the ability to see other players in the area.
That would be nice.
On android, pinch zoom gestures would be nice as well, in addition to the zoom-in/zoom-out buttons. Also add hotkeys for + and - for zoom as well as mouse scrollwheel.
