Buy the "dispenser" as an engineer (5000$) it will dispense Health

If you are talking about healing with the sorc, you can simply go up against a surface like a wall or tree, ect. and aim your healing staff toward the surface be it a wall, a tree it doesn't matter as long as the orbs are being blocked by the surface to be used on you.
