can we plz get stronger versions of the builders hammer plz because in a bad spot the hammer is kinda pathetic against high rank monsters.

Try using turrets and bombs more, rather than facing the enemy head on. I started this game playing only builder since i liked the idea of turrets doing my dirty deeds for me. Spamming lot of turrets, runing in circles and avoiding getting caught allowed me to even kill hydras in wild(admitted that it was a pain)
