Yeah, I did notice the AO being very dark on Alex' screenshots, but I couldn't compare them 1-on-1 with my setup so I didn't dig into it yet. This might be a visual difference due to drivers/vendors, so I might have to find a good balance here. @obi: do you think the MXAO looks fine on my social media post on Angeldust PostFX (with the pink horse)?

I cannot really tell from that photo, I would need an areal view / clearer look at it. I also have no clue what MXAO is, still I dont like it.

As I said, this is a graphical effect that darkens various relief areas and indentations. A sort of analogue ambient occlusion. The effect comes from the behavior of light in the real world, and of course it does not completely imitate this phenomenon, but it darkens everything in the way that the surrounding environment requires. And it's working fine on my PC btw. It's all because specific perspective and the surrounding environment in my screenshots.

I have a screenshot similar to what was in your spoiler, and I have a completely similar result, so Firefly, don’t put all the trouble on me.

It's not you personally Alex, I was taking shots at your AMD GPU :-)

Even in that way, it's not problem of my hardware. All problems with render was fixed for now along time ago.

Then I will try my best to make no more jokes in this thread.

No jokes, just real stuff™: I've updated Angeldust PostFX for Windows and tweaked some of the effects. Download the latest version here (link on first page is also updated): http://downloads.angeldu.st/Angeldust-PostFX-3.1b4.zip

Tried it, definetly makes the game much more beautiful. My problem was that everything but FXAA and LightDoF lags me, and LightDoF makes everything blurry, even text, unless im in cinematic or 3rd person. Ill wait for some screenshots from someone else or something to see how you tweaked it compared to before.

@obi: For Angeldust v3.0 you'll want to be in cinematic mode to see all effects in practice. Angeldust v3.1 has a completely rewritten renderer that makes all effects work in-game and everywhere. It's stunningly beautiful.
