I'd like to suggest a feature that could help with identifying creatures in the game. Something that has happened to me multiple times ( and I believe other players may have experienced it too ) is this: you're exploring a biome and come across a creature, but there's no clear way to tell if it's a new one or something you've already defeated before. I'm not saying there should be a flashing yellow light near new creatures like there is for the axe or shovel, that would make things too easy. But I do have another idea that I think could work: There could be a " catalog " accessible through the telecharger. It would function kind of like a Pokédex ( hue ) and show all the creatures you've already defeated, organized by species ( Trolls, Bears, etc. ). So whenever you encounter a creature and you're not sure if you've already captured it, you could just open the catalog and check. In my opinion, this would really enhance the in-game experience and reduce the need to visit the Angeldust website just to check which creatures you've already captured. To support what I mentioned earlier, I’d like to point out the Rooting Weedler and Spray Weedler. I know the difference between the two is obvious, but sometimes during your journey, you might not realize it’s a different creature right away. (Sorry if this message is too long or poorly written. I tried to be as clear and concise as possible.)

If you damage a creature the health bar will have a border if it's a new discovery. Yellow border for a new creature, gray for a new level, light yellow if it's a quest creature. The catalog / pokedex is a cool idea I suggest joining the offical discord server: https://discord.gg/m8FekP3

There are SO many stats that could be included... 1) match website (unnamed, gray silhouette until discovered) 2) named, full color once discovered (in game actual name is huge) 3) has been mount/petted (note: you can mount/pet before discover) 4) number killed 5) current kill leader board rank 6) highest level killed 7) biomes found in 8) AI: passive vs agressive 9) also sort by: undiscovered, never ridden/petted (per hero) 10) base coin dropped (level 1) 11) base hit points (level 1) 12) coin / hit point ratio (level 1) 13) coin / hit point ratio slope (as creature levels up)

Hey @Eden_! You raise some good points; a 'dex' is definitely something I'd like to add eventually. @obi- and @Hummm also provided some good feedback. Joining the Discord server to hunt together and get pings for rares is always a great idea. For the "discovery" game mechanic I've actually tweaked the fighter hero for the next update so he sees health bars and "new creature" / "new level" indicators for any creature in the world. That's his new superpower. You can already try this out in our WebGL version (requires a decently modern browser): https://angeldu.st/static/webgl-new Note that the next update also brings a minimap that has the creature markers.
