I know it's been like this for a very long time, but even after all this time still feels weird to exit the game by the options menu instead of the main menu. Would be nice and a bit more confortable to have the button in a corner of the main menu.

From the no-fix-but-might-help department: on Windows and Linux you can probably mash Alt+F4 to quit. On macOS it's Cmd+Q. I use those all day long and it works wonders for immediately exiting.
