random, you will find it easily once it spawns for you also you're on discord, maybe ask there next time for faster and more interactive answers

Unix, it is for the most part an unexcpeted appearance. The process Ive seen begins after about 10 - 15 mins of exploration and battle, the environment turns dark, music changes, and a Sorceress flys in and you have to follow her. I think location wise, that's probably the random part. There is a demo on youtube, can't remember which video number or time stamp it was, but that could also be helpful.
